  1. Interesting! Just this week I’ve realized that building things is the common thread of my own otherwise-odd succession of day jobs. I must say that I envy architects; software developers and others get requests from clients that amount to ‘hey, can you move that cathedral tower from the northwest corner to the southeast corner, and make it a little shorter?’ Working in bits rather than stone makes people think that stuff can just be shifted around at will…
